Job's Nursery opened its gates for the first time in 1940 on Road 36 in Pasco as a twenty acre nursery specializing in mainly shade trees as well as shrubs and other landscape plants.  In 1978-80 the nursery moved from Road 36 to North Road 68 due to the expansion of the Pasco Airport.  The new site for the nursery is 36 acres and is one of a few nurseries that handles retail bare root shade trees.  For 66 years we have provided the Tri-Cities with quality plants and service to help you make your yard great.

What the Logo Means

In the early 1980s Norbert Job created a logo for the nursery to help guide customers to the nursery after the move.  It consisted of 3 trees surrounded by a band with four breaks in it.  His friend, Phil, looked at it and gave it the meaning that has carried with the logo for the Job Family for 20 years.  The trees represent the number of Jobs involved with the nursery, while the breaks in the band are the number of decades the nursery has been open.  So the logo has changed slightly over time.  First the a fifth break was added to the band in 1990.  In 1998 the trees where a more realistic look by Kathy Job and in 2000 a sixth break was added to the band.  In 2003 a fourth tree was added to show that the fourth generation was involved in the nursery and where interested in remaining involved with it. Below is the 1998 and 2003 versions of the logo.

 What's New at Job's

In 2005 the Job family began upgrading the West side of the sales yard. The upgrades included finishing a greenhouse built in 1991, sidewalks were added and a new fence was installed 18 feet west of the old fence that has been removed.  It has taken quite a bit of effort and it looks great.  The Job family will be making more upgrades over the next few years.
