The Bare root Hole Size Chart are for you to have the estimated hole size for the Bare root Trees.  Unlike the container plants where the root ball is your gauge for a hole size, bare root tree hole are estimated by the caliper or diameter of the trunk.  These charts are to either give a customer with a tree(s) reserved with us to know how big of a hole to dig or for those curious in buying a bare root to know what they are getting into.  Also this can help customers with fence yards with gates to know how large a tree can brought into their yard without having to adjust the fence first.
