Job’s Nursery LLC is hiring an entry-level Horticulture Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to build a long-term career in horticulture, landscaping, and nursery operations.
You will receive on-the-job training and work alongside experienced professionals while developing practical skills in plant care, landscape installation, and irrigation systems.
Responsibilities
Install plants at residential and commercial landscape sites
Water, prune, fertilize, and care for nursery plants
Identify basic plant health issues and assist with pest management
Maintain plants so they are healthy and ready for retail sale
Assist customers with basic plant care questions
Help with irrigation system installation and repairs
Support nursery maintenance, repairs, and seasonal projects
Qualifications
At least a High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license required
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and use hand tools
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
Able to work well as part of a team
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
Pay & Benefits
Hourly pay: $17.13–$18.00 (based on experience)
